LapZ needs a PC
To use the LapZ system, you must have a PC to display the results and
control the system. As of now, the LapZ software provided by us requires a
PC running Windows ME or better, on a Pentium III (300MHz) or better.
Connecting LapZ to a PC
The controller card of the LapZ system connects to a PC with a standard
9-way COM-port (RS232). This is a very common connector on virtually every
PC. If your computer does not have a COM-port (like some portable
computers), or the COM-ports are already in use, you can use the USB-port
instead, by connecting a "USB to Serial" converter. These come
